Having studied music at university, Sarah always knew that performing wasn’t for her, and so she joined the promotion department at Oxford University Press, before heading over to the London College of Music and Media marketing team, mainly specialising in editing. The millennium was the kick-start Sarah needed to go it alone and she began freelance editing and promotional work for a large range of music publications including Mastersinger, Organists’ Review and for the Association of British Choral Directors. It’s for her red-hot sub-editing and copywriting skills that Sarah was brought onto the Elephant team. Luckily she still gets time to knit prolifically – woolly socks all round for the EC team this Christmas then!
