“Being a governor in Further Education has never been so important”, said Dr Susan Pember in her report ‘Creating Excellence in College Governance’.
But how can you achieve and deliver excellence in governance? On Thursday, May 1st Ease Training will be holding a training session about just this, with Elephant Creative owner Helen Hammond as a guest speaker.
It’s designed for newly appointed governors and existing governors needing to update their skills and knowledge. It will cover everything from the role of governors, financial accountability and legal essentials to reputation management and strategic and operational challenges.
Ease Training are specialists in the training of school governors and senior leaders and Elephant Creative works collaboratively with Ease Training to offer governor recruitment and induction programmes.
The event will be held at Cirencester College on Thursday, May 1st. The costs is £100 plus VAT.
